At DataCenter, we believe that research should be accessible and available to communities. Because of that, we reserve a portion of our work and resources for communities confronting injustice, even when its controversial, underfunded, last-minute or involves substantial risk. We have created a sliding scale fee schedule that reflects the diverse needs and resources of our communities:

Fees:

Market Rate:                                                     $150 – $175 per hour

Community-based Organizations:           $0-150 per hour

In honor and in the spirit of Zoia Horn, famed librarian, tireless fighter for intellectual freedom, and founder of DataCenter’s Right to Know project, we are in the process of creating a Zoia Horn Right to Know Fund. This Fund will support DataCenter’s commitment to ensuring communities are equipped with the resources and tools they need to surface the knowledge and information they need.
