Research Training

DataCenter's training program is designed to provide research skills to social justice activists and organizers. Our trainings begin with the basics of planning research strategies and using the internet and other sources to quickly find the information you need.

We focus on the specific techniques for researching corporations from corporate finances to labor and environmental records and government agencies from profiling officials to uncovering conflicts of interest.

In addition, we'll show you methods for evaluating and applying information for winning campaigns. DataCenter can customize a training to specific issue areas or to address your specific information needs which maximizes the impact for your campaigns.

To request a training for your organization, please contact us at datacenter@datacenter.org or call 510-835-4692.
