In June, RoadMap Consulting, National Organizers Alliance, and DataCenter conducted the Social Justice Salary and Benefits Survey.
DataCenter’s research director, Saba Waheed, alongside with DataCenter interns designed the survey, collected the responses, and analyzed the data to produce the comprehensive report.
The study looks at a cross-section of community-based organizations and advocacy groups across the US, specifically those serving low income and people of color communities. It aims to document policies, explore the social justice values embedded in personnel practices, and share data from across the movement.
The report will allow organizations to compare and learn from each other on creating compensation packages and sustainable work practices.
